Description
Awagami Masa Paper (often referred to as affordable Hosho) is machine-made of sulphite pulp, bright white and acid-free. One side is super smooth, while the other side is quite rough. Masa can be used for a wide range of art techniques, including sumi painting, watercolor, perfect for relief printmaking including woodcut and lino, etching, textural charcoal or ink drawing. Masa is very white paper, whereas the Shirakaba is less white.
- Masa Paper is internally sized and should be slightly dampened prior to printing.
